Claims Consultant — Construction Disputes
Prepare and manage construction claims, delay analysis, and quantum assessments for major infrastructure disputes.
We are looking for an experienced Claims Consultant to join our Claims & Dispute Consultancy team. You will support the preparation and management of construction claims, working across international projects and jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage extension of time (EOT) claims and delay analysis
- Conduct quantum assessment and valuation of construction claims
- Review and analyse contract documents (FIDIC, NEC, JCT)
- Prepare expert reports for arbitration and adjudication proceedings
- Support senior consultants in complex dispute resolution matters
- Maintain contemporaneous records and documentation
- Liaise with clients, legal counsel, and project teams
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in construction claims or quantity surveying
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, and JCT standard form contracts
- Experience with delay analysis methodologies (TIA, windows analysis, as-planned vs as-built)
- Excellent analytical and report writing skills
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Professional certifications (RICS, CIArb, AACE) are advantageous
